Scoliosis Intensive Care (IC) Certified doctors are trained to see scoliosis suffer for a period of 1-2 weeks of care, where it normally would take 3-6 months worth of care.

Dr. Hugh Van Kieu is CLEAR's IC certified. He has the training to give scoliosis care for a period of 2 weeks, which would normally take 3-6 months worth of care.

Scoliosis Brace Certified

In 1997 Dr. Kieu was trained to utilize a special advance brace (Most advance at the time) that uses air pressure to correct the scoliosis curvature. Dr. Kieu no longer uses this method for scoliosis correction because of the potential harm that bracing may cause to the neuro-musculo-skeletal system (according to the latest research).

Nutritional Training

Dr. Kieu took extra courses of studies in Nutrition and attended many post-graduation seminars on wellness and anti-aging (basically wellness) since obtaining doctrine degree.

Mission Goals on Scoliosis Care

1. Identify which is the Primary Scoliosis Curvature and Compensatory Curvatures and identifying the cause or root of the Scoliosis. For example, is the cause of scoliosis due to neurological conditions from the brain to oculo-vestibular system, brain to neck, brain to mid-back, or brain to low back- pelvic. By identifying the root of the scoliosis, Dr. Kieu will come up with the best and most effective plan to reduce the Scoliosis Curvatures.
2. Prevent the Scoliosis Curvature(s) from getting worse.
3. Reduce the Scoliosis Curvature(s) and Restore normal lordosis and kyphosis curvatures of the neck, mid-back and low back
4. Maintaining the Scoliosis Reduction, improve motion, flexibility, strength to the joints, discs, muscles, vertebrae of the spine.
